BY STEVE DREYER Results of an online public opinion poll conducted following a Town Hall meeting on adolescent alcohol and drug use show strong support for more high school campus visits by drug-sniffing dogs and for parental notification of all drugrelated on-campus arrests. Respondents also supported the creation of an addiction support group for parents and teens and random drug testing of PUSD athletes. The poll, which closed Monday, drew 425 unique responses, according to Steve Vaus, director of the sponsoring Poway Community Leadership

The first of three debates Conservative Order of Good Government plans to host before the June primary will feature two candidates in the 52nd Congressional District race. Incumbent Congressman Brian Bilbray, a Republican, and former San Diego City Councilman Scott Peters, a Democrat, will answer written questions posed by the audience via moderator on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The debate will be during COGG’s monthly luncheon, which starts with an 11:30 a.m. social. The debate will be 12:15-1:30 p.m. at the

Over 1,400 applicants entered the lotter y to obtain one of the 77 units in the complex, which include 44 two-bedroom units averaging 950 square feet and 33 three-
bedroom units averaging 1.325 square feet. According to Poway Mayor Don Higginson, who was a guest speaker at the welcoming event, most of the selected applicants had Poway roots, either living or working in Poway.
