BY ELIZABETH MARIE HIMCHAK Rancho Bernardo High’s students have been celebrating their “Alice in Wonderland” themed homecoming celebration this week. The school’s annual homecoming football game versus Ramona High will be on Friday night in the campus stadium at 13010 Paseo Lucido. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors (ages 60-plus) and free to those with a RBHS ASB card or children under 5. Student Activities Director Terri Rogelstad said RB’s Royal Regiment marching band will start its pre-game show at 6:45 p.m., followed by the RBHS Madrigals singing the national anthem prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff. BY ELIZABETH MARIE HIMCHAK Rancho Bernardo Planning Board might be giving the Waterbridge complex another three-month extension before voting whether to approve or deny Westwood residents’ petition to ban overnight parking in front of their homes. The board will meet at 7 tonight (Thursday) in the Club 21 room at the RB Swim & Tennis Club, 16955 Bernardo Oaks Drive. The agenda is posted at RBPlanningBoard.com. According to Robin Kaufman, who chairs the board’s traffic committee, six Waterbridge residents appeared at the committee’s meeting on Labor Day requesting a second extension. The planning board, along with the Rancho Bernardo Community Council, both agreed to a three-month extension when first considering the residents’ petition at their respective meetings in June, and said they would revisit the request in September.
