VERMILION CAMPUS Strong agricultural roots, tight-knit community and beautiful countryside are what you’ll find in Vermilion, Alta. Named for the red river clay, which still makes up the bricks in many historical buildings in town, Vermilion is home to 4,500 people and new ideas for living. Vermilion is a college-town and has been for more than a century. Located on the west side of the community, our residence village welcomes 500plus students from Western Canada and around the world. The campus includes a 1,700-acre Student Managed Farm – Powered by New Holland, the Centre for Sustainable Innovation and the Emergency Training Centre. Our sister campus in Lloydminster, Alta. is located just 30 minutes east on Highway 16. Edmonton and Saskatoon are an easy drive from either campus.
