5-6:30 p.m., Sunrise Beach. Each month, the American Legion Post 624 hosts their famous chicken wing dinner. Cost is $12/4 piece dinner; $6/2 piece dinner and $3/single wing, and comes with mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables. Non-smoking bar and seating available. 573-374-6091
5-10 p.m., Bagnell Dam Strip. Hot Summer Nights on the Bagnell Dam Strip is held once a month during the summer. Held rain or shine. The event is free for participants and spectators. All makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcome to park along the Strip.
