You want to go to college, but with tuition, books, and housing, costs can add up fast. We want you to get the education you want at a cost you can afford, so we’ve kept tuition as low as possible. In fact, LMC has the lowest tuition in the region. LMC also offers over $300,000 in scholarships each year based on financial need, academic achievement, area of interest, or college major.
ENJOY THE CONVENIENCE OF LIVING LESS THAN ONE BLOCK FROM YOUR CLASSES.
Additionally, we have affordable on-campus housing that includes loads of amenities. Best of all, it’s just a few steps from class! To save money on textbooks, you can rent or buy electronic versions from our on-campus bookstore. You can even sell your books back at the end of the semester, depending on the book’s condition. To help you keep computer and printing costs to a minimum, we have complimentary computer labs for your use at each campus. Also, about 400 pages of credit for printing and copying is included in your tuition. Even with our low cost tuition, students may need to work while going to college. Stop by our Career Services department for help with sprucing up your resume and finding local jobs or work study positions at LMC.

LIFE We want your time at LMC to be full of great experiences that add to your life. You’ll find lots to do and explore while you’re a student here. Become part of Red Hawk nation and cheer for our 7 intercollegiate athletics teams. Join one of our student clubs, or start a club of your own. Grow your leadership skills as a member of student senate. Live in Beckwith Hall and get the full college experience. Hang out in the Hawk’s Nest, our two-story student activities center, where you can play video games, shoot pool, eat a snack from Munchy’s café or chill with friends. Enjoy the performing arts with a variety of live stage performances at The Mendel Center, or feel the excitement of performing in an LMC theatre production or concert. You’ll also find that the areas nearby are full of things to do. Casual eateries, museums and shopping abound throughout southwest Michigan. And if you’re looking to relax and recharge, the beauty of Lake Michigan is a welcome sight any time of year. If you want to explore outside southwest Michigan, it’s an easy car or train ride to Chicago or Grand Rapids.

Complete the Housing Application: apply at lakemichigancollege.edu/live. Send us your Test Scores: ACT/SAT or complete the COMPASS/ACUPLACER Assessment at an LMC campus. Apply for Financial Aid: complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) at fafsa.gov. Register for Orientation: log in to your LMC Wavelink account once you get your acceptance letter.
