The luck of the Irish is near with St. Patty’s Day almost here. As we all know this is a day to enjoy and celebrate with friends drinking “Green Beer” and enjoying great food and most importantly dancing the night away with great entertainment. With a lot of research and help in recruiting from Member Richard Wheelan we have once again secured the Irish Band, Mc Hugh & Company. This band is a five piece band and plays a variety of Irish songs, contemporary songs and special requests. Mc Hugh & Company is located out of the Philadelphia area and packs the house on every venue. We were lucky enough to book them at the Clubhouse. The band consists of Tom Mc Hugh on Keyboard, Ron Hurst on Lead Guitar, John Reggo on Drums and a Special treat Dave Miller Irish Fiddler. The party starts at 6:00 PM with Cash Bar and Special Irish Drinks. Savor a delightful Irish Style St. Patrick’s Dinner Buffet created by Chef Will and his Culinary Team starting at 7:00 PM. The rest of the night is yours to celebrate with friends and tremendous entertainment. The date is Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 6:00 PM with the band playing from 8:00 PM until midnight. Busy Year for LN-TT Rangers
Under the direction of Chief Ranger John Lamberton, the Lake Naomi – Timber Trails Patrol Rangers were very busy during 2009 handling 5,313 calls and logging over 80,000 miles on their four patrol vehicles. During 2009 the Patrol Rangers also handled 6,170 paid housechecks and 3,802 random housechecks. Four individuals were incarcerated during 2009 for burglaries in Lake Naomi based on the cooperative efforts of the Lake Naomi – Timber Trails Rangers and the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department. The Timber Trails Gatehouse Rangers also had a busy year logging in 14,020 visitors and 3,623 contractors. Congratulations to this fine group of men and women for their dedicated service to the Property Owners of Lake Naomi – Timber Trails.
Calling all Members with their Last Name Beginning with A-D If your last name begins with the letter A, B, C or D it is time to get your Membership ID picture retaken. The Club has established a four year retake schedule to assure that the Membership ID cards remain current. In order to stagger the picture retakes some Members will have their first picture retaken prior to four years while others will be longer than four years. It is important to make sure that your ID card actually looks like you. Members who are behind in getting their pictures updated could experience inconvenience at a LNC amenity. The LNC Staff Members have been instructed to look closely at the Membership Cards to guarantee each and every Member has their own ID card. So to avoid confusion and to avoid delays stop in the Administrative Office to update your Membership ID picture. Special Note: Because young people change so rapidly, children under the age of 18 are permiteed to have their pictures retaken at any time.
