The Club is moving closer to the voting stage for Phase Two of the Horizon Plan - the Community Center Expansion. The Management Team has been diligently working with the Committees and Contractors to finalize the “not to exceed” price of the proposed Community Center Expansion. Final bids from the contractors are due January 20, 2016. Once the final bids are in, the Club will select the contractor and prepare to move forward with the Membership vote. The schedule of the town hall meetings will be advertised at the beginning of February. Like Phase One we want to give every Member the opportunity to review the project in detail and ask any questions they may have. In addition, an all-inclusive Phase Two Horizon Booklet will be distributed to the Members. This booklet will follow the same format as Phase One with detailed drawings, financial updates, and timelines for the various projects. Also included in the booklet will be a section of questions and answers that the Club has received from the Members. If you have any questions prior the booklet release, please email your ques-tions to admin@lakenaomiclub.com. The Board of Trustees, Board off Governors and the Committees are very excited to move forward with h the proposed renovations of the Community Center and will continuee the process for Phase Three of Horizon Plan which includes revamping the Lake Naomi Tennis Center and enhancing the Beaches. It is important as Members of the Lake Naomi Club to do your part by attending the town hall meetings, reading all the materials, and ask any questions so that you can confidently cast your vote for Phase Two of the Horizon Plan. It is extremely important to the Club to have a strong response on moving forward.
Happy 2016 I want to take this opportunity to tell you how grateful the Club is to have you and your family as Members of the Club. My team and I continue to have the pleasure of serving 50 year Members, as well as new Members who recently joined the Club. Six new families have already joined the Lake Naomi Club for 2016 and we look forward to many more new families joining so they too can begin their treasured LNC memories. One of my favorite yearly duties is to conduct the New Member Orientations where the Management Team and myself gets an opportunity to chat one on one with the new Members telling them about our services along with answering their questions. If you have any questions or concerns about anything regarding the Club or our policies, please feel free to contact me via phone, email or stop in the office. One area I will be focusing my attention on this year is the Food and Beverage Program which includes the Lake Naomi Clubhouse, Timber Trails Clubhouse, the five cafes, Mountaintop Lodge and catering events. One thing I have learned over the years is that our Food and Beverage Department is the heart of the operations as Members enjoy socializing with friends and family over a great meal. The Club will focus on making all these amenities better than ever moving forward. I ask for your support again in communicating your expectations for the F&B Program by reaching out to the Managers or myself but more importantly to come out and support the food program so that we can continue to grow and keep it within the LNC family. I look forward to any feedback that will help the Club better all of our food outlets but more importantly, I look forward to seeing you enjoying a great meal at LNC. In closing, I would like to wish a happy and healthy 2016 to you and your family. Robert A Jones, Jr., General Manager
