70th annual Dogwood Festival The 70th annual Dogwood Festival will be held April 15-17 in Camdenton. The theme this year is “Dogwood Through the Decades.” Lots of entertainment is planned over the course of the three-day event. DOGWOOD HIGHLIGHTS Parade
On Saturday, the parade will take place beginning at 10 a.m., traveling a new parade route from the Camdenton City Park to Ozarks Amphitheater. Float participants including businesses, organizations and political entries will decorate their entry using the theme of the parade “Dogwood Through the Decades.” Craft Show
The Camdenton DECA hosts the annual arts and craft show at Ozarks Amphitheater. Booths displayed with a mix of fine arts, hobby crafts, handmade jewelry, artisan food, soap, boutique clothing and other items will be for sale. Show hours are Friday 4-10 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Carnival
Jones and Company Kiddieland and Carnival will be set up at Ozarks Amphitheater April 15-17. Wristbands will be sold for $25 for unlimited rides from 5-9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, and also 12-4 p.m. Saturday. The carnival is open from 4-10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday. Dog Show
A Dog Show will be held Saturday at 4:30 p.m. The contest will be held on the entertainment stage at Ozarks Amphitheater. Canines will be judged for Waggiest Wagger, Best Dressed, Best Talker, Best Kisser, Best Trick, Mugs & Mutts Look-A-Like, and Dogwood Dog of the Year. 22 VACATION NEWS

The Camden County Historical Society will present their annual Melodrama “Parted On Her Wedding Morn” on Friday & Saturday at the Camden County Museum in Linn Creek. A spaghetti buffet will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person. For more information, call 573-3467191.
