20 & 22 • The Sunrise Beach Little Theatre will present a dessert theater production of “Curtain Up.” Admission to this production will be $20 for play including dessert, coffee or tea. Audience members are welcome to BYOB, with doors opening Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. and the play at 7 p.m. Doors open at 1 p.m. Sunday with play starting at 2 p.m. Seating will be at dining tables. 21 • Second annual PACT 5K Walk & Run, Rock Island Park, Eldon. Fund raiser for Lake of the Ozarks Stop Human Trafficking Coalition that helps aid children who have been sold or exploited. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. with the race starting at 9 a.m. There will also be a silent auction. Pre-registration for the 5K is $20, day of race is $25. 23 & 24 • The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is sponsoring two blood drives in the Lake area in May. The Lake Area Chamber is hosting one from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, May 23, in The Great Room at Willmore Lodge, 1 Willmore Lane, Lake Ozark. The Camdenton Chamber is hosting the other from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, in the Chamber Conference Room, 739 W. Highway 54. 1 • A golf tournament for Concerns of Police Survivors will be held at the Lake Valley Golf and Country Club. Shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Cost per player is $75 or four players for $300 per team. Cost includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, great prizes and raffles. A lucky ladder drop will be held.
2-5 • Jacobs Cave Summer Swapping Days will be held. Missouri’s largest swap meet will have antiques, guns, crafts, small animals, and other items for sale.
3 & 4 • A dinner theater production of “Cemetery Club” will be held at 7 p.m. Dinner served at 6 p.m. Reservations suggested. Cost is $20 per person. Dinner Theater $20 per person. 3 & 4 • The City of Camdenton’s 11th annual City-Wide Garage Sale has been announced. Anyone wishing to participate in the garage sale is asked to call City Hall by May 31 at 573-3463600 and request that your address be added to the map which will be made available to the public on June 1. Updates will be available online at www.camdentoncity.com on June 2 by 4:30 p.m. The city will be waiving the garage sale permit requirement for those days only. There will be a second residential clean up this fall.

The annual Dog Days Canine Cannonball will be held June 11-13 in Osage Beach. The National Sportmen’s Series dog sporting event is a local favorite. You can enter your dog to compete in any (or all) of the three competitions: Big Air Wave, Extreme Vertical, or Speed Retrieve. The Big Air Wave competition tests how far a dog can jump. The Extreme Vertical tests how high the dog can jump. The Speed Retrieve will show off how fast the dog can bring back its toy from the water.
The event is open to the public.
