The lake level was 658.8, generation of 39,000 cubic feet per second (CFS) throughout the week for a level of 658.9 by the weekend. Surface temperature at Bagnell Dam was 60 degrees. Truman Lake was at the 717.2 level.

To Note: The Lower Lake is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is from the 22- to 38-mile mark, the Upper Osage is from the 38-mile mark to the Route 65 Bridge.

Tournament Results

Josh Dryland and Will Gleas won the Second Annual Mizzou Bass Fishing Fundraiser Tournament last Saturday with 13.7 pounds.

Bagnell Dam spillway/Osage River

Water clarity: Clear. Catfish: Good on skipjack herring.

Lower Lake

Water clarity: Clear in the coves and stained on the main channel. Black bass: Fair on shaky head plastic craws, wacky worms and topwater lures along gravel banks and main channel bluffs. Crappie: Fair on jigs 3 to 4 feet deep along chunk rock banks or trolling crankbaits in open water.

Gravois

Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Good on jigs and Zara Spooks along gravel banks or main channel rock banks. Crappie: Good on jigs along the gravel spawning banks and brush piles 4 to 5 feet deep.

Mid-Lake

Water clarity: Murky. Black bass: Fair on shaky head worms, crankbaits and jigs along rocky banks in coves. Crappie: Fair on jigs 3 to 6 feet deep in brush along gravel banks.

Grand Glaize

Water clarity: Muddy. Black bass: Fair on creature baits, jigs and Chatterbaits along steep banks in coves. Crappie: Fair on jigs and minnows 6 feet deep along gravel banks.

Niangua

Water clarity: Muddy. Black bass: Slow on shaky head worms in backs of coves or secondary points. Crappie: Slow on jigs 3 to 5 feet deep along gravel banks.

Upper Osage

Water clarity: Muddy in the coves above the 70-mile mark and stained on the main channel. Black bass: Good on topwater lures and spinnerbaits around docks along gravel banks. Crappie: Good on jigs or minnows 4 to 6 feet deep along gravel banks. Catfish: Good tight-lining cut shad.

Truman Dam spillway

Water clarity: Stained. Crappie: Fair on jigs and minnows in the dead-water channel. White bass and hybrid white bass: Fair on jigs and jerkbaits. Catfish: Fair on fresh shad.
