CALENDAR OF EVENTS September 11 • Hot Summer Nights, a free car show for spectators and participants will be held along the Bagnell Dam Strip from 5-10 p.m. the theme this month is “A Salute to Our Military, Police, Firefighters & EMTs” Entertainment is held along the Strip for the kids. Each year 1,000 participants enter the show. Cars line up along the Bagnell Dam Strip. For more information, go to www.magicdragonshow.com. 11 & 12 • The 51st Hillbilly Fair will be held at the Laurie Fairgrounds Hours are Friday 4-11 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-11 p.m. The parade theme this year is “Hillbillies Gone Hog Wold!” A parade will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Throughout the day contests, live music, games, a circus, horseshoe tournament, clows and face painting and other entertainment will be offered. For more information, go to www. lakeoftheozarksairshow.com. 12 • The Iowa Reunion Club will host their annual event, the “IRC LakeFest” for all current 2020 Iowa Reunion Club members. This event will be held at Fat Polly’s Pub, located at The Lodge of Port Arrowhead, in Lake Ozark and starts at 5:30 p.m. Members attending will order off the regular Fat Polly’s menu. This is the ninth of twelve events scheduled by the club for this year. This event, as are all Iowa Reunion Club events, is open to all current 2020 club members. The Iowa Reunion Club, celebrating their 26th year on the lake, is for former Iowans, and part time Iowans, that live at the Lake Of The Ozarks. Membership is $10 per year, per household to join. Go to www.communityfoundationofthelake. com. 13 • The Boat and PWC Ride for Freedom will be held from Surdyke Port 20 to Truman Dam. The event is free but a $100 donation is asked for those who can afford it. Proceeds goes to Concerns of Police Survivors, the Cadet Thomas Surdyke Memorial Foundation, Supporting Heroes and The Mission Continues charities. Takeoff is at 9 a.m. with multiple stops along the way for fuel and food. A 50/50 raffle and $10 per hand poker tournament will be held during dinner. 14 • Franky & Louie’s/Indian Rock Golf Club will host the annual Franky & Louie’s Dan “Franky” Laubach Memorial Classic. The event is a benefit for Share The Harvest Food Pantry. Cost is $100/person or $400 for a four-person team.

Thousands of bikers will come to the Lake to participate in various events. Vendor Villages are located at Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson and Camden on the Lake. The popular Passport run will be held giving participants the chance to win a new bike. help C.O.P.S. provide healing programs for thousands of law enforcement survivors throughout the nation. Entry includes tournament play, lunch, prizes and raffles and silent auction participation. Registration is free but donations are accepted for Ozark Kat & K9 Shelter. On Friday, boat entry owners are invited to a cruise and evening meet and greet. The show will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. where you’ll be able to see classic boats on display.
