Ninth Annual Salute to Our Veterans
The Lake of the Ozarks Run/Walk for the Fallen will be held Sept. 13 at 9 a.m. at the Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport. Cost is $25 to enter (registration ends Sept. 11). The miles at this event will be pledged towards a national total of miles for all fallen service members. Remembrance runs will be held throughout the United States with the only one in Missouri being held at the Lake. More info. at Lake of the Ozarks Walk/Run for the Fallen on Facebook.
Car Shows
Two car shows in one day!
Two popular car shows will be held this month. The 32nd annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals will be held September 11-13. More than 1,000 entries featuring all makes, models and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles are expected to enter this judged show. Hot Summer Nights, a free car show, will be held Sept. 11 from from 5-10 p.m. Both shows are located on the Bagnell Dam Strip.
Community The Community Foundation of the Lake will host the Champagne Campaign fundraiser September 12 at La Roca Club in Osage Beach. The theme is “All That Jazz.” The event starts at 6 p.m. Cost is $60 per person which includes a buffet, raffle and live auction items. Go to www.communityfoundationofthelake. com.
