CALENDAR OF EVENTS OCTOBER 15 •  The Knights of Columbus will host a Fish Fry at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Laurie. They will be offering either a carry-out option or a dine-in option. Carry-outs will cost $5, dine-in options are $10. Hours are from 4:30-6:30 p.m. 16 •  The second annual Camdenton Parks and Recreation Chili Cookoff will be held at the city park. Prizes for best chili in four divisions. Tastings will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for $5. Entertainment and hayrides will be held. For more information and to enter the cook-off call 573-346-3600. 16 •  The Fire Flies will host their annual ham and bean dinner starting at 4:30 p.m. at the NWFPD Station No. 4, located off of Lake Rd. 7-9. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children. The Oldies But Goodies Band will be performing. 16 • The Iowa Reunion Club will host their annual event, the “IRC Iowactoberfeast”, for all current 2021 Iowa Reunion Club members. This event will be held at Landshark Restaurant at Margarittaville in Osage Beach and will run from 5:30-7 p.m. This is the tenth of twelve events scheduled by the club for this year. This event, as are all Iowa Reunion Club events, is open to all current 2021 club members. The Iowa Reunion Club, celebrating their 27th year on the lake, is for former Iowans, and part time Iowans, that live at the Lake Of The Ozarks. Membership is $10 per year, per household to join the Iowa Reunion Club, one of the largest clubs on the lake. The show will be at 7 p.m. on Oct, 21 & 22 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 24. Doors open one hour prior to the show. Desserts generously donated by local caterers and are included in $20 admission charge. Craft booths, apple butter and pies, craft demonstrations, a quilt raffle and chili supper will be available. Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission free. Lots of vendors and entertainment will be held. Half of the

proceeds go to the Elks charity funds to help provide a Christmas for needy families. Dinner at 6 p.m. with the program starting at 7 p.m. The theme this year is the Day of the Dead. 30 • A Halloween Pub Crawl will be held at bars and restaurants in Gravois Mills. Ride the bus for $5. Buses start at 7 p.m. Participating bars include: 10-42 Bar & Que, Hillbilly Yacht Club, Tony Gs, VFW, Lake Burger, Lil Bass Hole, and Maggie’s at the Lake.

Free but donations are accepted. 19 & 20 •A Holiday Market Place will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Camden County Museum. Craft booths and vendors with Christmas crafts and gifts will be on hand.
