The afternoon and full day workshop in oil and cold wax will include application of some of the concepts from the morning presentation. Workshop: Mix It Up, Shake it Loose and Flirt with the Masters I once heard this: "There are no color police!" Well, no there aren't. However, understanding color, light, line, shape and texture along with the principles of art is important to creating fine art. But when you have the fundamentals, then what? You play! Come play with me! We will explore color theories and use guided practice to loosen up your style and explore process with cold wax and oil. Extend your boundaries and freshen up your thinking about abstraction from reality through directed exercises in the studio.
