FITNESS // 2020 TIPS FOR FITNESS DAMIEN LUNDY WE ARE WELL INTO 2020, HERE IS HOW TO STICK TO THOSE RESOLUTIONS! The dawn of a New Year and decade, 2020 and you’re more motivated than ever to get in shape! This is great, although only a few will now still be sticking to those resolutions while many will have fallen off the wagon! Here’s how to prevent that from happening and make resolutions reality and part of you’re life. ONE Don’t over do it when you first get started. Take it step by step with both your training and nutrition. Start off with one or two classes a week and then gradually add more sessions. Don’t become demotivated by sickening yourself!Baby steps are Key, as the old saying goes “Don’t run before you can walk”

TWO Stop viewing foods as ‘GOOD’ or ‘BAD’! Focus on the calories in food for your weight loss journey. Ask yourself this, when has one ‘bad’ meal made you gain weight or one ‘good’ meal made you lose weight? NEVER! It’s about being able to sustain your diet over a long period of time, a lifestyle change that will help lose the lbs! THREE Seek guidance. If you’re clueless of what to do in the gym you have options! For some, the best option is hiring a personal trainer as they can design a plan specifically for you which will help you achieve your fitness and/or weight goals.
