DRAG & PRIDE

Over Lockdown Hayley and I mainly concentrated on lives and makeup transformations but as time went on, we got really creative for different digital drag shows & projects and the content we released is definitely something to

POST LOCKDOWN CAPER

So, I don’t know about yous lot but these past couple of months have been pretty f**kin hard for me from lockdown started to date and I did not see it coming. At the beginning I felt like I dove straight into it, trying to make it fun and “keep it going” with plenty of productive & creative Lives on Facebook between myself and my girlfriend Hayley, we really kept ourselves busy..to then totally burn ourselves out!! Then by the time July came, we just slowly started stepping back to concentrate on our mental health and survival, which is necessary for most of us and was for us!! To be honest, I’m so proud of the content we created while lockdown was happening because I know I even surprised myself and for that, I’m proud of us both.

But what a crazy f**kin time we live in, right?? I mean looking back, humans have ALWAYS suffered in some way or another, haven’t we?? I believe that the human race has always suffered from PTSD, in all forms and it just gets worse & worse!! Starting from food for survival, wars for fields or crops, into actual wars (i.e. Nuclear/Iraq) for power, greed & money and now, science & technology massively holds that suffering in 2020!! It’s a shame that all those resources weren’t used for actual good, for every single person on this Planet and not just a select few!!

I always imagine what it could have been or possibly even could be like, where each and every person lives a happy sustainable life with everything they need and no crazy pressures from jobs or family or friends, everyone is ok, no one is poor, hungry or dying before they should in old age!! Everyone is supportive and loved!! I’m crazy as f**k I know, but hey we all gotta dream something, right?? Lol

I just want you all to know that this is a hard time for absolutely everyone and you are not alone!! Our circumstances will be different individually yes, but we’re all human, we all bleed the same!! So, let’s go a little easier on each other, let’s be kinder, be more helpful and let’s give other people a bit of a break because who the f**k needs that on top of everything?? I know I’d rather

And with all that, came Belfast Pride 2020!! It wasn’t the same, I mean of course it wasn’t, so I’ll get that out there now but I had a really fab time!! Between the bars doing their thing and The Pride put positive energy out there because even the smallest amount of Love, WINS <3 <3

A TRIBUTE TO NOAH DONOHOE

In April 2018 I moved in to an apartment block in South Belfast where I met Fiona Donohoe and her son Noah. Fiona was very bright and chatty, whilst Noah was shy but very pleasant & sweet in manner and was always smiling. You just knew she had a good lad there.

Over a period of time through passing, you could tell he was very respectful, to the point that one day whilst he was playing basketball in our courtyard, he stopped bouncing his ball to say hello to me, another day he ran in front of me to open the door for me..he was 13 at this point and I just remember thinking to myself, wow that kid is so nice to stop his playtime to say hello or open the door for me, and I’ll be honest it made my day knowing that there were young lads out there that were good kids who would do very well in life!! Fast forward to the 21st of June 2020 and Recently I have collaborated with local producer & artist, Mister Underground with my vocals for a single on his new album coming 30/10/20. The single is called Only Sin and I can’t wait to show it off..so watch this space!! And whilst writing this column, it’s smooth jazz jams all the way baby…. Hayley and I decided we needed to get our movie on more, so recently we have watched The Matrix Trilogy, Blank Panther, The Craft, 1408 and we just started the Blade Trilogy too..ya can’t beat movie nights. If you guys have any recommendations, feel free to throw me a wee email. the worst thing that a mother could go through, happened!! 14yr old Noah was reported missing, which was very unusual for him and a big concern to his family & friends!! Searches began from The Police & Rescue Service, and the public. For 6 days searches continued with very little information being given, leading to lots of confusion, conspiracies & wild rumours. Unfortunately, on the 27th of June, the terrible news came that Noah’s body had been found in a storm drain in North Belfast, along with other confusing details. We are still no further on with the answers deserved and needed for the family.

Since then Fiona, her sister Niamh, family, friends and now strangers have joined together on social media platforms to keep Noah’s name alive until Fiona gets the answers and of us at GNI Magazine give you our support in the search for the truth. Please follow #RememberMyNoah #JusticeForNoah

I thought I was gonna tell funny stories every time here, but I’m limited!! So instead this is a shameless plug because I am now an Ann Summers

Ambassador and I want to make it accessible to

ALL groups, not just straight Women/Couples. I am currently in training but will be working on packages that cover a lot of the LBGTQ+ Community requirements, so that everyone can enjoy parties that talk about Sex, related to their preferences!!
