This past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in the vibrant world of Salon International, a premier event that brings together the brightest minds and most innovative talents in the industry. As I stepped into the bustling venue, the air was electric with excitement and creativity, a palpable energy that set the stage for an unforgettable experience. I was honored to represent Revlon Professional, showcasing their latest products and trends alongside side with my visionaries 2023 brothers Ashley long and dodge mackay and visionaries 2024 Hollie, Stephanie, Taylor and Sophie and we can’t forget the head of the ship Karen and Rio and the rest of the Revlon team

The event was a spectacular showcase of artistry, where stylists /brands from all corners of the UK came together to present their work on live models. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as each stylist took to the stage, transforming their models into living canvases that reflected the latest trends and techniques. It was a celebration of creativity, where every snip of the scissors and every stroke of the brush told a story of passion and dedication. The audience was captivated, their eyes glued to the stage as they witnessed the magic unfold before them.

As I stood backstage, I felt a rush of pride and excitement. The energy was contagious, and I was surrounded by some of the most talented hairstylists in the industry, each one a master of their craft. The camaraderie among us was palpable; we were all there to inspire and uplift one another, sharing tips, techniques, and a mutual love for the art of hairdressing. It was a reminder of why I fell in love with this profession in the first place—the ability to create, to innovate, and to connect with others through our shared passion.

One of the highlights of the event was seeing my work displayed in the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards gallery. It was a surreal moment, standing in front of my creations, surrounded by the stunning works of other talented stylists from across the UK. Each piece was a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication that goes into our craft. The gallery was a visual feast, showcasing a diverse array of styles, colours, and techniques that left me in awe. I felt a deep sense of gratitude to be part of such a talented community, where each stylist brought their unique vision to life.

As I wandered through the gallery, I couldn’t help but reflect on the journey that brought me to this moment. The countless hours spent honing my skills, the late nights experimenting with new techniques, and the unwavering support from mentors and peers all culminated in this incredible experience. Hosted by Schwarzkopf and HJ, this prestigious event promises to be a night of celebration and recognition for the incredible talent within our industry. As the winners are revealed, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. Regardless of the outcome, being part of this journey and sharing the stage with such talented individuals is a victory in itself.
