HALLOWEEN HOUSE

It’s no secret that Pasadena and its surrounding area are home to a myriad of recognizable fi lm sites, from beloved feel-good fl icks like “Father of the Bride” to the sci-fi classic “Back to the Future” and many, many more.

In keeping with the spooky season of Halloween, we’d be remiss if we left out the infamous Myers residence from director John Carpenter’s horror-slasher fl ick, aptly titled “Halloween.” e movie may take place in Haddonfi eld, Illinois, but the real movie magic took place much closer to home in South Pasadena. For those wanting a safe, socially distant way to get in October’s fright night spirit, drive by 1000 Mission St., South Pasadena to see the house in all its gory...er, glory.
