Baguio was the most searched city in Luzon outside Metro Manila in 2022. The Summer Capital of the Philippines made a resurgence in 2022, with tourist arrivals to the city hitting near pandemic levels. Baguio pulled 46% more inquiries in December 2022 compared to January 2022, with apartments followed by houses attracting the bulk of leads. Inquiries for Baguio rentals were highest in August 2022, following the passing of the law creating the Metro Baguio Development Authority — an agency in charge of planning and delivering basic services in Baguio City and neighboring towns.
