Interest in Cebu City real estate remained robust throughout 2022. The city is consistently the most inquired location in Visayas and among the top ten most inquired locations in the Philippines. There was a double-digit increase in leads comparing the first and last months of 2022, with vertical developments attracting the largest share of inquiries out of all other property types. Other than the opening of Cebu’s first toll bridge, the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), the city saw the ribbon-cutting of a number of new commercial and hospitality developments in 2022. This includes Nustar Resort and Casino, which has drawn more visitors to the southern part of the city, the launch of LEED gold-certified building JEG Tower @ One Acacia, and the unveiling of Filinvest Cyberzone 2.
