Davao was the most searched city in Mindanao throughout 2022. Condo supply in the city increased by 11%, while leads for the same increased by 154% from January to December 2022. This may be driven by the progress of infrastructure projects benefiting Davao City residents, such as the High Priority Bus System, Mindanao Railway Project, and the renovation of the Davao International Airport. Improved transit and accessibility in the city between the rest of the region further cements its status as a gateway to Mindanao. In November 2022, the Bureau of Customs announced plans to position the Port of Davao as an alternative logistics hub in Southeast Asia.
