Managing Safely Training Our IOSH Managing Safely Training Course is designed to help team leaders, supervisors, managers and heads of department effectively manage their teams’ health and safety. Our experienced trainer can deliver these high impact interactive 4 day training courses to teams of staff ranging from 6 - 12 people either at your own workplace or from Morecambe Town Hall.
Our trainer
Kevin McKay is an experienced health and safety trainer with nearly 20 years’ experience. Kevin started his career at the council as a refuse driver. Since then he has had a number of front line roles and well versed on the key areas of high risk within an organisation. As Health and Safety Manager for the council, he is responsible for training hundreds of employees every year and ensuring safe work practices across a range of different activities.
These include highway and grounds maintenance, refuse collection, street cleansing, repair and maintenance of council buildings and vehicles and tree felling.
A fully qualified health and safety trainer for IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) Kevin provides IOSH Managing Safely Courses for all city council managers and supervisors and for which he has a 100% pass rate.
