The ranch, which features rolling pastures resplendent with native grass and live oaks as well as two fields suitable for cultivation as either hay meadows or food plots, is a testimony to pioneering stewardship that can be traced back to the early 1900s when the historic ranch was founded.
Throughout most of its history, the ranch was used as a livestock operation and still maintains the infrastructure of working pens, barns, a cedar stay round pen for horses and excellent water distribution thanks to two water wells and a windmill. Two additional storage tanks could be hooked up to further develop the water.

In addition to the ranch infrastructure, the headquarters compound includes two main ranch houses and a wrangler’s house. The original ranch house, which boasts four bedrooms and two baths, was completely updated recently to include granite countertops, wood floors and a new heating and cooling system. Its front porch is a place people want to gather as the late evening disappears into the night. With the nearest light pollution half a county away, the night sky is majestic.
