1 A Faberge silver gilt, guilloche enamel, and wood frame Victor Aarne, St. Petersburg, 1899-1908 The large presentation birchwood frame and integral hinged wood strut, applied inner frame of translucent red enamel over a textured ground with applied finely chased swags and cascades of flowers and rosettes, surmounted by a gilt bow-knot beneath the Imperial crown; containing an original signed photograph of Tsar Nicholas II dated Reval 1902, 88 silver standard 17 ½ x 13 Ÿ in. 3

3 A Faberge silver gilt frame Hjalmar Armfelt, St. Petersburg, circa 1908-18 The rectangular frame with cut corners and domed surmount enameled in a translucent red enamel over an engine turned ground within a raised bead border. Applied with silver gilt ribbon-tied laurel wreaths and swags, the lower corners with gilt rosettes; ivory back and gilt scroll strut, 88 silver standard and scratched inventory number 21534 4 ½ x 4 ½ in. 5

6 A Faberge wood, silver gilt, and pink guilloche enamel frame Moscow, circa 1896-1908 The circular wood table frame and shaped wood back strut, set with a rose pink guilloche enamel center surrounded by a band of chased husk leaves and a row of chased beading beneath a scrolling ribbon. 5 5/8 in. 8
7 A Faberge silver gilt and guilloche enamel frame Michael Perchin, St. Petersburg, late 19th century The rectangular frame, with a border of chased laurel leaves surmounted by a bow-knot, covered in translucent blue enamel over a radiating sunburst engine-turned ground with applied laurel wreaths around an oval raised bead aperture, ivory back with an A-frame hinged strut 4 7/8 x 3 5/8 in. 9
8 A Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel card case Feodor Ruckert, Moscow, late 19th century The two-compartment case decorated with the Jack of Spades and the Queen of Clubs against a white ground surrounded by multi-color scrolling strapwork and foliate borders against a light blue ground, the sides similarly decorated with stylized plumed mythical birds and scrolling flowerheads, the cover with scrolling foliate motifs and a representation of the four suits in each of the corners, the base engraved, “Dec, 25, 1901� 3 7/8 x 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 in. 10

11 A Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonnÊ enamel inkwell Faberge, Moscow, 1896-1908 The oval body, with two pen holders, raised on four ball feet, decorated around the sides with scrolling floral and foliate motifs between stylized floral roundels against a cream ground, the top similarly decorated with four multi-color enamel cockerels, the hinged lid of the ink receptacle enameled with a double-headed eagle attached to a geometric design enamel collar 3 x 7 5/8 x 6 3/8 in.
