Bonnie Garcia is the Unanimous Choice California State Senate-District 28

MARISELA GARCIA

or the first time, in a new California State Senate District there will be two members of the same party bidding to be elected as your representative. For some it is confusing but for the informed majority it is a clear choice. Bonnie Garcia has a six year history in Sacramento, evidence of her mindset is as simple as scrutinizing her voting record.Bonnie never voted for a tax increase during her six years in the State Assembly. She worked across the aisle brought consensus while authoring numerous job creating Assembly Bills and economic opportunities throughout the State. She brought thousands of jobs to our region while at the same time toughening penalties for violent offenders and protecting crime victims. These are all simple facts. Bonnie reformed the bureaucratic state processes to expedite unemployment claims and was Chairman of the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board. She is in favor of the revitalization of existing infrastructure and against the hidden taxation of gas to fund a high speed rail system going nowhere. She views high speed rail taxation as a regressive tax for citizens who will never use a system destined to never reach this district. Bonnie is a strong advocate of the Second Amendment and Public Safety and has earned the endorsement of Gun Owners of California. She believes Proposition 13 is one of the few tools Californian’s have to maintain affordable taxes. She is a strong defender of Prop. 13. Coming from a a law enforcement and military family she believes we must protect our nation and it’s residents and that starts with a strong border. For Bonnie, it is clear we have a immigration issue which must be addressed and acknowledges a colossal failure at the federal level. Issue after issue, Bonnie has a record and it is a known fact she is ready to represent our

Senate District from day one. Her opponent Jeff Stone, is mired in legalities, has had his pharmacy license suspended, has been placed on probation for three years for illegalities related to his business and has been fined by the FPPC. He continues to misrepresent his abilities and has no experience in state governance. His current financial liabilities in connection with this campaign reflect a poor management style, already being $300,000 in debt. Bonnie Garcia is endorsed by practically every major organization in California and local public service leaders. A partial list includes: California Police Chiefs Association, California Correctional Peace Officers Association, California Association of Highway Patrolmen, California Charter Schools Association Advocates, California Crime Victims United, Gun Owners of California, California Small Business Association, California Professional Firefighters, California Young Republicans Association, Marc Klass-Father of Polly Klaas-Founder of Klass Kids Foundation, Marion Ashley, John Benoit, Kevin Jeffries, Jim Veneable Jan Harnik, Van Tanner, Lupe Ramos Watson, Mary Roche, Patrick Mullany, Bill Powers, Yvonne Parks, Jim Battin, Tony Strickland, Brian Nestande, Kevin McCarthy, Dick Oliphant, and thousands of others too numerous to mention. From any perspective you choose to determine the best candidate, Bonnie has a proven track record of working for our district and a ability to reach across the aisle to reach bi-partisan solutions where necessary. On November4th, Vote for Bonnie Garcia.

Surviving on a Single Can of Hope

or the past six years we have been subjected to living on “Hope and Change”, sixty three percent of our nation now hopes it will change. As we approach this extremely important midterm election, we must all bear in mind voting for our convictions will be the most important aspect of our vote since WWII. During WWII America actively fought and died to keep our sovereignty, to keep our freedoms and refused to be saddled with Socialism or Communism. We won that war only to be subjected today, 70 years later with internal strife, inside operatives who have weaseled their way into our political leadership and are now intent on vanquishing our Constitution, our Bill of Rights and our only means of maintaining a free society; accountability. Our current leadership is no longer accountable, they know nothing, they hear nothing and they do nothing in regards to preserving our “inalienable rights”. Today, our constitutional rights have been conveniently and intentionally turned into an American preference versus a Conviction. The difference is life or death. Over the centuries, millions have died over their convictions, especially religious, while few are willing to die for a preference. This is a prime reason our current leadership is totally befuddled on how to handle Islamist-ISIS. Our current leaders do not know the difference. WWII is too far removed from our leaders understanding and those in power are arrogantly naive delving into historical facts to understand. ISIS is fighting for their “convictions,” while this intrenched Democrat

administration is fighting for their “political” preference. How absurd is that? It is not absurd, it is the epitome of ignorance. Last election we experienced several levels of naïveté not the least of which came from the so called “tea party” who withheld their votes to teach “not conservative enough” conservatives a lesson. These tea party hold outs OWE this country, they owe this country for the 2million votes they could have cast for the Republican candidate on a national scale but intentionally did not. Giving us Obama for a second term. They owe us for the tens of congressional seats conservatives lost including here in our backyard for holding back and allowing lock step Democrats to seize control and walk away with our future. As Americans we are similar but not the same. Who we are is comprised of what we accept and what we live. We cannot claim to be conservative and accept allowing socialists to take over our country with the passive act of not voting. As we head into socialism the arrogance of a few will affect how we ALL live. This election, we need to vote for our convictions, not our preference. As the saying goes, “you can lead a human to knowledge but you can’t make him think”. All conservatives are not the same but it is more comfortable to lament while still free than to lament stripped of your civil rights in route to a socialist nation. On November 4th, let us all come together and vote for those who represent conservative values. We must not abandon the notion the constitution means what it says.
