Three Ways to Invest
1. DIY Style? Pick an online trading platform. For the person who likes to take matters in their own hands, you may want to consider Charles Schwab online or Acorns. Open an E-Trade account or invest your left over change for them to invest in high yield stocks for you. 2. Open an IRA When you open an IRA you have options of where to invest your money and how much you can earn over 1, 5 or 10 years. Roth IRA is money you already paid taxes on. Maximum investment is $5,500 per year into the Roth IRA. Traditional IRA is pre-tax money and you defer taxes until retirement. 3. CD Set up automatic transfers from your bank account to an investment or CD account (high yielding savings account). Take a percentage of your paycheck and do it automatically so you don’t have control.

CLEANING
By MOOD oh sorry BY ROOM
BATH – Clean Mirrors, Dust light fixtures, wipe everything down from the counter, toilet, since and cabinet handles. Empty trash and wipe down trash. Try using our daily routine to clean and the bathroom will stay clean longer.
BEDROOM – We are focusing on the bed in this issue.
Remove all linens, wash all linens but let mattress air out for a few hours. Vacuum the seams of the mattress to remove dust and any other unwanted particles. Rotate your mattress. Dust the posts of your bed frame, wipe down the end tables nearby and while you are at it put some clothes away.
CLOSETS--- Deep divers will pull everything out and start placing in the truly wanted items. No time? Declutter as you go with every wardrobe change, place 1 or 2 items in a donated bag.
KITCHEN---Deep divers will act like the do with their wardrobe closets. No time? Wipe down sink, backsplash and stove daily. Be sure to hit the cabinet doors, handles and any appliances. Better yet, put appliances in stow away out of sight area.
LIVING ROOM—Get that vacuum underneath that sofa and all around that room. Rotate and vacuum cushions, wash throws, and pillow covers. Keep living room clean by avoiding using it as a dumping ground.
LAUNDRY ROOM---Get in that washer and clean it.
Remove soap and dryer lint. We remove dryer lint every time we wash. Inspect the gaskets, hoses and exhaust vents for sign of wear. Clean knobs, machine face fronts and vacuum behind and underneath the machines. Yep you gotta! Run one washing cycle with hot, vinegar added to the water. Love your machine! Ours has lasted for 20 years. Leave washer doors open after every load to air out.
cont.
OFFICE—Wipe down computer, keyboard and screens.
Wipe down the desk itself and empty drawers and declutter. Last but most important, tackle paper. Read through and evict non-important paper. Things are online and remember you can look at that bank statement online you don’t need a years’ worth of paper.
REFRIGERATOR---Find a system, eggs in one area; veggies in another. Remove all food and wipe down drawers, panels in/out and place food back in. Clear out fridge weekly. We pick Sundays because Monday is garbage day and we can throw rotten food out.
WINDOWS - Open the windows and pop out screen (if you can), wash the screens with soapy water. Wash the glass window on both sides with glass cleaner and use micro-fiber cloth or squeegee to get dry without streaks. Vacuum window sills and wipe down window sills and frames. Dust the window blinds, hardware and coverings.
PAINTINGS by Shanta Laster This season we have been using vibrant watercolor. We like the delicate balance of soft and old. Take the journey with us over at The_Girl_Daily_Journal
What we are Reading
1. Art Issue by KeyAesthetics Duh of course we read our own publication. We are never so attached that we cannot learn something new with each page we read.
2. Cairns & The Great Barrier Reef Adventure 101 for newbies to Australia.
3. Draw Your Day Be inspired by your daily life. Keep a journal or a sketchbook of your sketches.
4. The Tattooist of Auschwitz An unforgettable real-life story that took us breathe away and had us on the edge of our seats. A “hopeful recreation of Lale Sokolov's experiences as the man who tattooed the arms of thousands of prisoners with what would become one of the most potent symbols of the Holocaust KeyAestheticsMagazine.com

I love to highlight children artwork, and this was a nifty idea. See images below. It would be nice to start giving these away as custom gifts. And the Modern Watch everyone needs. And Headphones to die for – wow! Just coming back from my Travels, I am working on creating some Custom Postcard gift packs. Most likely to be a gift for moi (teehee). Brilliant Airplane seat hammock for infant. Why didn’t I think of this invention?
