is an integrated architecture and interiors studio specializing in the design of fully conceptualized residential, commercial, and hospitality environments.
Founded in 2014, our philosophy is rooted in the idea that designs should be immersive and activate all senses to evoke a range of emotions. We view each project as an opportunity to create an experience with a story arc and a unique vocabulary used to set the visual stage and create a sense of place.
We design from the inside out with a focus on the function, organization, and relationship of spaces—specifically, how their sequencing is experienced. In our practice there is no delineation between architecture and interior design. Our approach breaks down a project into a series of layers. It considers how furniture will be arranged and how the architecture wraps those spaces with biophilic voids to allow the exterior landscape to permeate into the interior environment.
Taking on a limited number of commissions at a time, each project begins as a study into our clients’ objectives, without a preconceived notion or prototypical style. Our process engages the client to develop a complete understanding of their lifestyle, habits, and routines. This allows us to balance their functional and aesthetic priorities with an integrated and curated approach that consolidates the creative vision for all architectural, interior, and exterior elements.
We have hand-selected an extended team of suppliers, artisans, and tradespeople who share our dedication to exceptional design and unmatched craftsmanship, allowing us to deliver one-off works of art for our clients. Additionally, we provide comprehensive construction administration services throughout the project’s construction life to ensure the highest quality and fidelity to the design.
Named American Institute of Architects Firm of the Year for the State of Nevada in 2021, we have received numerous prestigious international awards for our work. PUNCH
was founded in 2015 by partners Clemente Cicoria, Drew Gregory, and Zak Ostrowski while working together on a project that would later become Found Font and Hot Dip. Little did they know that this late night charette session would lay the foundation for many things to come and now eight years later, PUNCH has become a multi-faceted team of creative architects, artists, designers, tinkerers, fabricators, and makers that embody the collaborative design spirit with technical savvy. We are problem solvers and the dreamers of the dreams. Our architectural design style is varied to work within the context of the natural environment and objects in the private and public realms that are unique and tailored to our client’s visions, while being mindful of the surroundings. The work is site-specific, and it bridges the gap between the natural and built environment with every project. The design process starts with an idea that is layered with multiple elements, building up within the project context through transformative design, exploration, and storytelling. Each project is an original work that embodies passion, integrity, quality, and beauty; yet maintain functionality and simplicity.
Since 2015, PUNCH has designed work all over the United States from Coast to Coast and has won (13) AIA Nevada Awards, (2) AIA WMR Awards, (2) Nationally Juried Public Art Competitions, (1) AIA Nevada Young Architect of the Year (Partner Clemente Cicoria in 2021), and (1) MUDA Award (City of Las Vegas Mayor’s Urban Design Award). PUNCH is a licensed Architecture firm in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.
In addition to providing Architecture, Interior Design, and Public Art professional services; PUNCH designs and fabricates custom furniture and artwork for select projects.
