PROGR AM DIRECTOR Dear TL graduates of 2019! Congratulations for a successful journey at LAU, congrats TL Alumni, our Tomorrow’s Leaders, LAU’s pride! You all shared at LAU a unique experience, the TL experience. MEPITL provided each one of you the unique opportunity to get out of your comfort zone, explore yourself and the world. I have seen you grow not only academically through your different majors, but also personally. I salute you for taking on this challenge and succeeding! The program strived to expose you to many different experiences, from internships, extra-curricular activities, leadership programs, skills building workshops, a fully sponsored semester in the US, and civic engagement opportunities. Throughout it all, you managed to diversify your academic experience while maintaining your excellent academic standing. Your life within the MEPI family for four years exposed you to a multi-national environment. You lived diversity and
learned tolerance and acceptance and built bridges between cultures, which is what the world desperately needs today. I salute you all and wish you the best in your plans. I hope that you will be able to change the world to the better, serve your communities, and bring awareness where it is needed. You are the change we would like to see in the world. You have seen the way, may you have the strength to walk it! Finally, I would like to thank the LAU higher administration, and LAU-TL team from staff and faculty who worked tirelessly for the past years to provide you with what you need to shine, and you did shine! Now that you embark on your future, I am sure you will excel in whatever you decide to do.
