WHAT IS HEAT? • It’s a sensation of hot that we feel around the body and the objects.


WHAT DOES THE HEAT DO? • Makes things go hotter and we can use it to cook.


WHAT ARE HEAT CONDUCTORS? • They are materials that transmit heat quickly.


WHAT ARE HEAT INSULATORS? • They are materials that transimit heat slowly.


WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN OBJECT RECEIVES HEAT? • When an object receives heat, its temperature rises.


WHAT DO WE HAVE TO DO TO KNOW THE TEMPERATURE OF AN OBJECT? • We have to use a thermometer.


WHAT IS A THERMOMETER? • It’s an object that measure the temperature of an object.


WHAT HAPPENS WHEN OBJECTS OF DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE TOUCH? When 2 objects of different temperature touch the object with the higher temperature transfers heat to the other object.
