Dear Friends, Easter Seals Midwest’s Walk, Run ‘n Roll is a family-friendly, inclusive event for people of all abilities. Featuring both a 5K run and a 1-mile fun walk—along with music and entertainment, activities for families and a sensory-friendly area—Walk, Run ‘n Roll serves up a great day outdoors and makes a difference, too. Walk, Run ‘n Roll began in 2004 as a way for the community to come together and raise awareness of the contributions that people with developmental disabilities can, and do, make to society. At Easter Seals Midwest, we believe that all people should have every opportunity to learn, live, work and participate in a community that values their contributions, regardless of their disability. By joining us as we walk, run and roll, you are demonstrating that you believe as we do, and through your generosity, you help support programs that ensure those we serve can take advantage of all the community has to offer. All funds raised through Walk, Run ‘n Roll help local individuals and families live their best possible lives. With autism and other developmental disability diagnosis rates on the rise, quality programming like ours is needed in Missouri now more than ever.
