Descriptive Pairs Laura Fromme

Thoughts I really enjoyed the beginning of this project. I love being “punny.” I loved finding multiple meanings behind words, especially that you don’t think to hard about. Toasting with toast, jam jamming, a bow bowing, and more are all very comical things to me– which is why I loved drawing them or making them. Drawing the descriptive word pairs posed to be more difficult to me. I found it hard to sketch them without using anything other than letters. However, I like how my final turned out. Crunch being crunched by time (which is how I always feel: being on a time crunch). I had numerous options to choose from, some that I liked more than others. However, I chose to go with timecrunch because I thought there could be more options to go with. I made the word ‘time’ look similar to how TIME Magazine has it on their covers. It was hard to make crunch seem as if it was being crunched but I think it worked out okay.
