Substantial Brief - 2-3 months Brief In a day and age were cancer can be present in up to 1 in 3 people in any given lifetime, the predominance of cancer is on the rise. The most common diagnosed cancers in the uk are Breast, prostate, lung, melanoma although cancers cannot always be treated or fully cured, if caught early the chances of survival and longer life can increase by up to 90% in certain cancers. To prevent cancer going un-noticed it is important everyone knows what on/in their body they should be looking out for, whats normal & what isn’t. By using graphic design create an awareness campaign which can help normal everyday people spot cancer in their own or family’s bodies in particularly targeting young adults - the campaign should help and encourage people to make such checks as a regular routine so that cancers can be quickly caught and sent for proper diagnosal at a gp or hospital. Background/Considerations -Consider the target audience and the use of social media platforms. -Research thoroughly into how to check for signs of cancer. -Focus the brief in to either one type of cancer or overarching.
