ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION NETWORK CONTESTS enhancing and promoting cooperation between educators, companies and worklife organisations
YVI Project (2010-14, Finland) organised two national contests targeted to networks composed of teachers, teacher educators, entrepreneurs and other representatives of worklife.
In 2013, the networks were assessed according to the following criteria:
The contests were organised in consecutive years and called Connected Educator (2013) and Neat Networks (2014).
• innovativity in implementing entrepreneurship education • time span and self-assessment regarding the activities • large representation of different actors in the network.
All networks, be it recently created or with a long-time co-operation, were welcome to participate.
In 2014, the contestant networks were evaluated especially by the novelty and versatility of their actions.

YVI Project (2010-14) was a national project for developing entrepreneurship education in teacher education in Finland. The project was coordinated by the University of Turku, Turku Teacher Training School. Over thirty organisations of vocational and academic teacher education, general education, worklife and entrepreneurship participated in the project. The project was ESF-funded, with the Finnish National Board of Education as the financing authority and with additional funding from the Development Centre Opinkirjo, Turku Region Development Centre, Ministry of Employment and the Economy, and the Foundation for Economic Education. YVI Project was nominated a Best Practice project of the European Commission and the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2011.
