Automobile accidents are the leading killer of teens According to the National Traffic Highway Safety Administration, 35% of teen deaths in the United States are due to car crashes and 16-year-olds are seven times more likely to crash than other drivers.

Inexperience, lack of knowledge and poor decision making are the root of this problem. The current DMV system doesn’t give new drivers the skills needed to overcome these handicaps. As a result, young drivers are not prepared to drive.

Teen drivers are more likely to engage in dangerous activities while driving, increasing their accident risk.

Driving Concepts is the solution to this problem The Governor’s Traffic Safety Administration, AAA, Ford Motor Company and other agencies have indicated that the solution to the problem is improved driver’s education.

The Driving Concepts Foundation was created to fill that void left by DMV training and give inexperienced drivers the tools they desperately need. We provide quality instruction that includes valuable information and life saving skills that all drivers can apply in every day driving situations.

Why does your child need further driver training?

Teen learns how to drive her SUV How will your child react to an emergency situation? DMV programs teach new drivers the rules of the road, but little about how to drive. Even though it is well recognized that improved driver’s training is the best way to reduce crashes among new drivers, if anything, programs are being reduced, and not improved.

Your child may be able to pass the driving test, but do they know what to do in an emergency situation? The critical choices one makes in a split second can be the difference between life and death. Driving Concepts Foundation gives new drivers experience beyond DMV training, increasing the chances that they will make the right decisions while driving.

Who is Driving Concepts Foundation?
