It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanette on the evening of April 2, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Donald and her son Geoffrey. Mother to Sheelagh and Colin, and beloved grandmother to Rachel, Trevor and Brendan. Originally from Kilrea in Northern Ireland, Jeanette and her husband immigrated to Canada in 1959, settling first in Vancouver and then eventually making it to Hudson, Quebec, which would become their permanent home in 1963. Her bed and breakfast business which she ran for over 20 years allowed her to indulge in her love of people, entertaining and her garden. A service was held at Wyman United Church in Hudson, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
