Remi Lefebvre, 82, of Hudson, Quebec, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2020. Remi was born and raised in Hudson. He graduated from UniversitÊ de Montreal in pharmacy in 1961 and went on to be a pharmacist in Hudson and then Pointe-Claire. Remi was a loving husband to his wife Josephine (Jo) of 52 years and a terrific father to his two sons Robert and Marc. Remi also leaves behind his brother Jean-Claude, his two daughter in-laws Debra (Robert) and Christine (Marc), and four grandchildren Ryan, Cameron, Oscar and Benjamin. Remi was an accomplished amateur golfer who was passionate about the game. He won the Quebec Junior and the Quebec Amateur in the 1950’s, played for the Quebec Willingdon Cup team on several occasions, and won Whitlock Golf and Country Club’s Club Championship 9 times over 4 decades, the Match Play Championship twice, and the Senior’s Championship once. Service to be held at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, 413 Main Road at 11 a.m. on August 29 with Father Roland Demers presiding. Your expressions of sympathy are appreciated although some may not have known Normand James personally.
