In Memoriam

Raymond Brouzes 1941-2018 It is with great sadness that May, Roxane and StÊphane announce Ray’s passing. He went peacefully on December 5, at Ste. Anne’s Hospital. A mass will be held on December 19, at 11 am at St-Thomas church in Hudson followed by a celebration of life for family and friends at Whitlock Golf and Country Club. He will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at Ste. Anne’s Hospital for the level of care he received in the last year and a half. If you wish, a donation to NOVA Hudson would be greatly appreciated by the family.

(nĂŠe Lalonde) Jan. 19, 1927 - Dec. 11, 2018

Fernande Pearl Parsons passed away December 11, 2018 in Rigaud, QuĂŠbec. She was born in MontrĂŠal on January 19, 1927 to Nelson and Berthe Lalonde, and raised in Ste-Annede-Prescott. She was the second eldest of five siblings, all of whom - Denise, Claraise, Yvette and Abelard - predeceased her. In February 1948, at twenty-one, she married Wheatley Willard Parsons. Their marriage lasted until his death in August 2003. Together they ran a farm on CĂ´te St-Charles, St-Lazare, QuĂŠbec for half a century. Even through that hard work, Fernande always took pride in her appearance, wearing little scarves and nice purses that would add colour and flourish to her days.

Celebrating OUR 700th Edition!

Fernande is survived by her two beloved daughters, Freda Pearl Dean (John) and Pauline Linda Parsons, as well as her grandchildren, Michelle Dean, Karine and Joey Boudreau (Melissande), and great grandchildren, Justin, Adam and Rachel Boudreau. At her request there will be no visitation. Interment will be at a later date.
