Tara Fitzgerald The Journal There’s something very special about young love that reminds us of our youth and we can’t help but reminisce. We all smile at its sweetness and innocence. Just seeing a young couple walking hand in hand is enough to take us back to the B 7 7 7 ! es. Falling in love when we are young is exactly that – falling. It’s something we have no control over. We meet someone who takes our breath away and we literally just fall for them. We don’t take the sible outcome. At 16 we didn’t stop to ask ourselves how it will all end. We just went with it. Simple. Then life gets in the way. Life can be hard and messy and love doesn’t always * 5 ! ) ) * 5 the fairy-tale ending goes astray. We come away with bumps and bruises and a collected share of scars. Hearts once
