In Memoriam

Pat McCaffrey (nee Dodd) 1939 - 2019 Pat passed on Wednesday January 23, 2019 exactly as she would have wanted to, in the company of her good friends. A woman of incredible intelligence, curiosity and wit, a lover of history who could conquer even the most demanding Sunday Times crossword. A world traveler, avid tennis player, golfer, and armchair architect who never stopped designing her perfect library. A gifted pianist, Scrabble player, and proud mom of 5 children and their 5 extraordinary partners, 9 beautiful grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Pat was a committed and loyal volunteer who gave her time and energy to the Historical Society and Museum, War Memorial Library, Greenwood and the Legion Poppy Campaign. She would do any type of volunteer work, as long as it didn’t involve baking. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 at the Hudson Legion, 56 Beach Road, Hudson, Quebec. Meet and greet: 1 - 1:30 pm, Memorial: 1:30 - 2 pm, Celebration: 2 - 3 pm.
