Local faith communities stand together in the face of tragedy and loss James Armstrong The Journal
The recent massacre of Muslims at prayer in New Zealand on Friday, March 15 was a sharp echo of a similar killing spree that took place at a Quebec City mosque on January 29, 2017. The response of local religious leaders and individuals involved in faith & % common thread: stand by each other, support each other, and get to know each other. Rabbi Nachum Labkowski from the Chabad Centre for Jewish Life in SaintLazare sent the following statement to The Journal: â&#x20AC;&#x153;On On behalf of the local Jewish com J % those who lost loved ones in these 8 ' 4 , "Our response ought to be bound , ! 8 0 acts of goodness and kindness. (née Paquette) 1923 â&#x20AC;&#x201C; 2019 Mrs. Rita Paquette passed away on February 27, 2019 at the age of 95. She is reunited with her husband Wallace Murphy, her parents, brothers and sisters, and her dear grandson Mario Castonguay. She leaves to mourn her daughter Denise (Kyrke Nussey), her grandson Hughes Castonguay (SherryAnn), Tayna Thorpe (André), her great grandchildren Vivian, Océanne, Damien, Méganne, her sister-in-law Isabelle Martel, her brother-in-law Roger Aubin (Gisèle), nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
