A bump in the road Dealing with minor accidents C.J. Maxwell Special contributor

Accidents happen. As do fender benders, bumps, and dings. And if you’re lucky enough that the only damage is to the vehicles and not the passengers, then count this as the most important blessing. If anyone is injured – even slightly – you’re required by law to contact emergency services. If you don’t already have a joint accident report in your glove compartment, it’s a good idea to drop by your local SociÊtÊ de l’assurance automobile du QuÊbec (SAAQ) outlet and pick some up. Though a downloadable app exists, online reviews are not favourable with numerous technical glitches arising, according to users.
