Isobel is survived by daughter Susan Newell (Bill) and sons David Whittall (Mary), Rob Whittall (Jennifer) and F. Douglas Whittall (Debbie), and grandchildren Ann, Robin, Doug and John (Sarah) Whittall, and great-grandson Finn David. Predeceased by her son Richard Andrew Whittall, husband John Hyde Reckitt and first husband Ralph Leslie Whittall. She took strength from her friends, her community and St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Special thanks to the Nova nurses and caregivers who took such loving care. A memorial service will be held in the coming months.
