Follow instructions.

* Opening hours are subject to change.

DECISION Go to the emergency room immediately.

Somnolence, confusion, staying awake

No urine for 12 hours

If help is needed, call 911.

Precautions and care if you have COVID-19 symptoms Seek help

Rest If you have coronavirus symptoms, feel the disease. Limit your contact with others until you have no more symptoms. You can go back to your normal activities when your state of health allows you to.

Drink frequently Frequent drinking is important because fever causes perspiration and major loss of liquids. You should drink at least 1.5 litres of liquids every day. You can drink cold or warm liquids, as you prefer. Avoid alcoholic beverages and liquids like coffee or tea that contain caffeine, as well as soft drinks.

Cover your nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing, ideally with a facial tissue. Wash your hands right after If you do not have any facial tissue, cough or sneeze into your elbow or upper arm, which are not in contact with people or objects Spit into a facial tissue Throw away facial tissues into a garbage bag in a trash can with a lid. Keep used tissues away from children Do not allow visitors in the house

Keep your environment clean

Alcohol and caffeine will cause you to urinate more often and increase loss of liquids.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) can survive for the following lengths of time on objects and surfaces:

Watch out for these signs of dehydration:

3 hours on dry surfaces

Extreme thirst

6 days on moist surfaces

Dry mouth and tongue

Therefore, it is important that you clean counters, sinks, door handles and all other surfaces frequently touched by hands. ways of eliminating the virus.

Infrequent and/or dark urine Dizziness, confusion and headaches

Protect your entourage Do the following to protect your entourage until you have no more symptoms (fever, cough, fatigue, sudden loss of sense of smell without nasal congestion, with or without loss of taste): Self-isolate in a bedroom to avoid contaminating others Sleep and eat meals alone in your bedroom

Use soap and water or household cleaners to clean surfaces. Use a 1/9 bleach-water solution or disinfectants. For example, this means 10 ml of bleach to 90 ml of water. If you are sick, your sheets, towels, cloths and dishware can be washed with those of others in the home using normal detergents.

While many of us have the necessary resources to deal with a COVID-19 situation, others may not. If you are concerned, do not hesitate to ask for or accept help. Talk about it with your close family members. You can also dial 211 for help or ask your local CLSC to connect you with their home care and services resource.

Stay informed Listen to the radio, watch TV, read the newspaper and/or go to the following government website often: QuĂŠbec.ca/coronavirus The Ministère de la SantĂŠ et des Services sociaux will provide instructions for the population on health matters and to obtain care. Always follow the government’s current notices and instructions, since the situation can change.

General information Services QuĂŠbec Coronavirus hotline 1 877 644-4545 (toll free) Deaf or hard-of-hearing persons 1 800 361-9596 (toll free)

PUBLIC NOTICE

Hudson

Reconnaissance de droit de propriĂŠtĂŠ Premier avis

Recognition of ownership First notice

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Town of Hudson intends to avail itself of the provisions of Article 72 of the Municipal Powers Act and become the owner of the following streets, described further in the summary description contained in the present notice, which have been open to public circulation for at least 10 years. Municipal Powers Act Article 72 can be read as follow:

72. A road open to public traffic for 10 years or more becomes the property of the local municipality upon the observance of the following formalities prescribed by this paragraph: (1) the municipality adopts a resolution identifying the road concerned, either by its cadastral designation if the site of the road corresponds to that of one or more whole lots of the cadastre in force or, otherwise, by a technical description prepared by a land surveyor; (2) if applicable, a copy of the technical description, certified by a land surveyor, is filed with the office of the municipality; and (3) the municipality has a notice published twice in a newspaper in its territory. The notice must contain (a) the full text of this section; (b) a summary description of the road concerned; (c) a declaration that the formalities prescribed by subparagraphs 1 and 2 have been observed. The second publication must be made after the 60th and not later than the 90th day following the first. If registration is required by law, the municipality submits to the minister responsible for the cadastre a cadastral plan showing both the part of the road that has become its property because of this section and the remaining part. In addition, the municipality must give notice of the deposit to any person whose address has been registered in the land register, but the consent of the creditors or the beneficiary of a declaration of family residence is not required in order to obtain the new cadastral numbering. The municipality publishes in the land register a statement referring to this section that includes the cadastral description of the land concerned and states that the formalities prescribed in the first three paragraphs have been observed. A right that third parties might claim to the ownership of the site of the road in question is prescribed unless the appropriate recourse is exercised before the competent court within three years after the last publication prescribed in subparagraph 3 of the first paragraph. The municipality cannot apply this section to a road on which it has levied a tax within the preceding 10 years.

Clara “Becky McKinstry Gittins July 31, 1930 – March 27, 2020

Clara (“Becky) McKinstry Gittins passed away peacefully at home in Woodstock, Georgia on March 27, 2020 at the age of 89. Her family and her dog Missy were by her side. Becky was born on July 31, 1930, the daughter of Guy Hale McKinstry, a doctor and Clara Bechman McKinstry, a nurse, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was raised, along with her older brother Guy, in Washington, PA in their family home, which was across the street from the Hillsview Sanitarium, which was established in 1913 by Clara’s paternal grandmother, also a physician. Becky graduated from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD, with a teaching degree in 1953. She taught at a school for the deaf in Pittsburgh for several years. In Pittsburgh she met Arthur Gittins and they were married in 1955. Art worked in the steel industry as an engineer and they moved about every five years with his job, living in Buffalo, NY, Steubenville, OH, Birmingham, AL, and Hudson, OH before their final move to Hudson, Quebec in 1977 where Art retired. Daughters Amy and Ann were born in Buffalo, NY and sons Bill and Tim were born while the family was living in Steubenville, OH. “Four kids in six years as Becky liked to say. In Hudson, with her children grown, Becky was busy. She loved to swim at the yacht club and cross-country ski on the trails right from her back yard. Over the years she has been very involved with Saint Mary’s Church, the Saint Mary’s Sewing Circle, Greenwood Centre for Living History, and the Como Library. She was a life-long bridge player. Becky was a beautiful woman and gracious and kind to everyone she met all her life. Becky was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years Art, by her parents, her brother Guy McKinstry and her grandson Ian Blair.
