James Hugh McCourt 1940 - 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James (Jim), son of the late Mary Schoolcraft and Ferdinand McCourt. Jim passed peacefully while surrounded by family on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Jim is survived by his loving family, wife Thelma (née Séguin), son John (Diane), daughters Patricia and Catherine, four granddaughters Megan (Justice), Amanda, Caitlin, Melanie (Kyler) and his four great grandchildren James, Zakiyah, Joshua and Jack. Jim is also survived by his sisters Shirley (John) and Barbara (late Robert) and his brother Gerry (Elaine). He was predeceased by sister Gwen. Jim was a long time employee of Xerox Canada and enjoyed playing hockey and golf, coaching little and minor league sports as well as spending time with his family. At Jim’s request there will be no funeral service. The family will receive condolences on Friday, May 10, 2019, between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. at the F. Aubry et Fils Funeral Home located at 434 Main Rd.
