On November 5th, M. ClĂŠment Bergeron began working in his new position as Networking Partnership Initiative (NPI) Coordinator for Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Known in the community for his expertise in Community Development, M. Bergeron notably piloted the creation and the installation of the Social Development Policy for the City of Pincourt. As a resident in the area for many years, he has been implicated in many demographic changes that have taken place since he ďŹ rst arrived with his family. Within the MontĂŠrĂŠgie West Community Network (MWCN), M. Bergeron’s mandate will be to promote the participation and implication of the VaudreuilSoulanges English-speaking community and to put in place local promising actions for accessibility for this population with regards to Health and Social Services. Together with any Community Partners as well as institutions, he will be involved in preparing an action plan that will respond to the needs of the English-speaking community. April 1st, 2018, the MWCN was oďŹƒcially recognized and ďŹ nanced by the Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN) as the designated organization for the NPI program in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. The CHSSN is a non-proďŹ t organization that receives funding from the Federal Government within the framework of the dual linguistic program with the goal of putting in place local activities to promote the access to Health and Social Services for the English-speaking community. This organization recognizes a total of twenty-two (22) similar community organizations with the speciďŹ c mission of developing English-speaking communities. We wish much success to M. Bergeron, who will, through his expertise and the strength of his network, become a key player for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges English-speaking Community. M. ClĂŠment Bergeron can be reached at 438-888-2479 and at clementbergeron@videotron.ca Pauline Wiedow Executive Director -MWCN
