In Memoriam

Joyce Cameron (Parrott) 1932-2018 Joyce passed away following a lengthy illness on October 10th at the age of 85. Beloved wife of William (deceased); she is survived by her son David, as well as family members Bruce, Deborah and Barbara. The family wishes to thank her many friends, especially Sheila and Karen Starkie as well as Rollie Normandeau for the enormous support shown to Joyce over the years. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Roseamond Frier (nĂŠe Nussey)

1925-2018

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roseamond on October 9th, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Elmer (Jim) Frier. Rose began her nursing career in Montreal. She was with the United Nations in Chad and Mali for many years. Upon retiring Rose worked for the V.O.N.. She later married Jim Frier of Pointe Claire. The children were her greatest joy and she brought many gifts home from Africa for her nieces and nephews in Quebec and Ontario. She will be lovingly missed by her nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends. The family would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to the 2nd floor staff at Reseau Selection for all their love and support of Rose. Beautiful memories are all that are left of one we loved and shall never forget. A smiling face, a loving face, a broken link we can never replace. The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Boul. Des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9B 2A6) on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.. The Celebration of Life and burial at the Rideau Memorial Gardens will follow immediately afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to one of Rose’s beloved charities - Crossroads General or the World Health Organization in her memory. Thursday, October 18, 2018
