In Memoriam

Brenda Cowell 1944-2019

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Cowell (née Edington) on October 7, 2019 at the age of 75, with family by her side. She will be dearly missed by so many, but mostly by Edward, her husband of almost 52 years, her daughters Erica, Adrienne (Soren), and Hilary (Dax) as well as her granddaughters Robin and Abby. She loved travelling, dogs, birds, spiders and gardens, a good murder mystery, but above all her family and friends. She is deeply missed and forever in our hearts. We would like to thank the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital, the Ottawa General Hospital and the Palliative Care Centre in Hudson for their excellent care and compassion. If desired, donations in her honour could be made to NOVA Hudson or the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence. A celebration of Brenda’s life will take place at Whitlock Golf and Country Club on Saturday, November 9th. Please drop-in between 1 and 4 p.m. to join us in sharing memories.
