Throughout this report, we honor our generous donors and volunteers who have created many extraordinary opportunities for each and every student. Last year, you provided support for faculty continuing education, financial aid, student athletes and artists, student-lead community service initiatives through LynxServe, leadership programming and innovation in our classrooms. Lausanne Board of Trustees The Board of Trustees is respected by the entire Lausanne community for its leadership, thoughtfulness and dedication to the school and the broader Memphis community. This year, Lausanne welcomes a new member, Amin Zaki, and is pleased to welcome back Peter Heist, our new Board President.

Peter Heist

Peter Heist, parent of Tim ’15, Chris ’17, Sam ’19, Jess ’21 and Charlie (Grade 5), served 8 years on the Board beginning in 2010 and chaired the Development Committee for the majority of that time. Currently, he and his wife, Theresa, are serving as co-chairs of the Campaign Steering Committee. Peter is the Vice President and General Manager of International Paper’s North American Container business. Peter has been with International Paper since 1981 and has held various roles in Coated Papers, Printing & Communication Papers and Forest Products during his 38 years with the company. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and his Master’s degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Amin Zaki

Amin Zaki, parent of Jena (Grade 1) and Aya (JK) and husband to Yasmin Jeiroudi, is owner and founder of Stella Maris Development, a real estate investment firm in Memphis. He and his wife moved to Memphis from Abu Dhabi where he worked as Senior Asset Manager for Aldar Properties, a UAE real estate investment company. Amin lived in Memphis as a young child, attending Lausanne in kindergarten. He moved to Abu Dhabi as a teenager and then returned to the states for his formal education. New to the Lausanne community last year, Amin and Yasmin have already made an impact on our community through their positive and enthusiastic support for the school and its activities.
