March 26, 2021 Welcome to the 2021 Lausanne Auction: We Are Lausanne. We Are Memphis. For the first time in the school’s history, we are hosting a completely virtual live event. This school year has undoubtedly been marked by significant changes, but the spirit of Lausanne remains evident in all that we do, and this event is no exception. Each year, auction proceeds fund crucial school enhancements not covered by tuition. This year, proceeds will not only benefit our Lausanne community by way of the Lausanne Emergency Fund and Innovation in the Classroom but also the greater Memphis community through three local charities selected by our LynxServe program: Memphis Child Advocacy Center, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis and the Mid-South Food Bank. Thanks in no small part to the phenomenal support we have received from our community partners, the 2021 Lausanne Auction is already off to an impressive start! Successful auctions are the result of true team effort. We’d like to offer our sincerest thanks to the Lausanne Parent Connections Auction Committee, Divisional Coordinators and Grade Representatives. For months, I have watched these volunteers work long hours in an effort to help make this year’s event a success. TBF believes in making our community a better place one auction at a time. Education is important to owner and head auctioneer, Trisha Brauer. She holds a Bachelors degree and an MBA. She completed her auction training at World Wide College of Auctioneering. She is on the Board for the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), and is a member of state associations for Iowa, Kansas, Colorado and Missouri. Trisha also holds the designation of Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS). This designation is awarded and recognized by the National Auctioneers Association and represents specific education and training in conducting benefit auctions. This designation has been awarded to only 3% of the nation’s auctioneers. In addition to helping nonprofits have recording breaking events, she is a professional trainer for the NAA and teaches auctioneers across the country the art of benefit auctions. BIDDING TERMS & CONDITIONS

PAYMENT INFORMATION

All bidding will take place via desktop or mobile device; this applies to both silent and live (aka ‘premium’) items. Bidders do not have to be present at the event, whether in-person or virtual, to win. All items/packages are described to the best of our ability and sold as is. All certificates, services etc. must be redeemed in accordance with any specified restrictions and by the expiration date listed. Items are non-transferable. Auction items may not be exchanged or returned to the store or individual. The highest bidder on an item at the time bidding closes is deemed the winner of the item. A bid is a binding contract. All winning bids constitute a sale, and all sales are final. Bidding will close at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, March 26.

All participants are required to place a credit card on file prior to making purchases and/or bidding. For all outright purchases (party packs, raffle tickets, donations, ‘Buy Now’ items etc.), the card on file with your account will be charged immediately. For any items won via bidding, the card on file will be charged at the end of the event (approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, March 26). You may view and edit your payment information at any time during the event; see ‘View Your Account’ on page 6 for details.

TUITION RAFFLE TERMS & CONDITIONS The total pot will be split, with 50% of proceeds applied to the auction and 50% toward the winner’s tuition. All tuition discounts apply to the 2021–2022 school year. Must be 21 years or older to enter. Participants do not have to be present at the event, whether in-person or virtual, to win. Winnings must be applied to tuition and are not redeemable for cash. If the winner is not a Lausanne parent, winnings may be transferred in writing to a valid Lausanne family with the permission of the Development Office of Lausanne Collegiate School. Raffle tickets are not tax deductible, and winnings are subject to federal and state taxes. The winner will be chosen at random during the live event on Friday, March 26, and the winner will be notified immediately thereafter.

END OF EVENT Bidding will close at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, March 26. At this time, the credit card on file with your account will be charged for any items won via bidding. All participants who made purchases throughout the course of the event and/or won items via bidding will receive and end-of-event email detailing all purchase details, tax deductibility and information regarding item pick-up. Please retain this email for tax purposes.

AUTOGRAPHED STAN LEE MARVEL COMIC Donor: All-American Classics Perfect for any fan of Marvel and all things pop culture, this is a framed 27"H x 18.5"W collage, autographed by Stan Lee. Certificate of authenticity included. Stan Lee (1922 – 2018) was an American comic book writer, editor, publisher and producer. He rose through the ranks of a family-run business to become Marvel Comics’ primary creative leader for two decades, leading its expansion from a small division of a publishing house to a multimedia corporation that dominated the comics and movie industries. 905. FUND A NEED: LAUSANNE EMERGENCY FUND Donors: YOU! Here at Lausanne, we’ve embraced a new normal and continue to thrive thanks to our dedicated faculty and staff, who work tirelessly to ensure that each day is exciting, educational and safe for our students. In March of 2020, Lausanne Parent Connections created the Lausanne Emergency Fund to support the wellbeing of our families, faculty and staff, and it’s already hard at work! Last spring, thanks to the generosity of more than 100 Lausanne parents, alumni, trustees, faculty and staff members, we were able to raise over $22,000 in critical financial support for those who had been most severely impacted by COVID-19. These desperately needed funds helped provide rent, groceries, healthcare, tuition assistance and other essential needs to 18 Lausanne families, many of which included faculty and staff. Your generosity provided a sense of comfort and security in a time of overwhelming uncertainty. Will you help us reach our goal of $20,000 again this year? A $2,000 gift will cover a student’s tuition for a month. A $1,000 gift will help a family pay their mortgage. A $500 gift will provide two weeks of groceries for a family of four. 906. PATRICK MAHOMES AUTOGRAPHED HELMET Donor: All-American Classics Perfect for any Kansas City Chiefs or Texas Tech fan! Enjoy this incredible Patrick Mahomes framed collage. Measures 19 x 23 in. framed. Patrick Mahomes is an American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs. He initially played college football and college baseball at Texas Tech University. Following his sophomore year, Mahomes quit baseball to focus solely on football. In his junior year, he led all NCAA Division I FBS players in multiple categories including passing yards (5,052 yards) and total touchdowns (53 touchdowns). He then entered the 2017 NFL Draft where he was the tenth overall selection by the Chiefs. During his rookie season, Mahomes became the only quarterback in history to throw for over 5,000 yards in a season in both college and the NFL.
