Wells Gate is located 1.3 miles from Woodford Station, which provides hassle-free access into the City or the West End within 30 minutes. Other tube stations in the local area, and also on the Central line, are Buckhurst Hill and Roding Valley.

Alternatively, Highams Park Railway Station is 2 miles from Wells Gate and offers national rail services into London Liverpool Street, Stansted Airport, Cambridge and beyond.
